Chocolate almond protein smoothie topped with Cocoa Almond Squarebar chunks and crushed almonds. Made for a delightful dessert-for-breakfast meal! |
Ingredients:
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
- 1/2 tbsp chocolate almond butter (I used Justin's)
- 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder (could also use cacao powder for more nutritional value)
Directions:
- Break frozen banana into four chunks and place in a blender.
- Pour almond milk over banana, then add protein powder, cocoa/cacao powder, and almond butter.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour into a glass and top with anything you'd like (or drink plain!) and enjoy!
